Bring a touch of fruity elegance to your home with this Bigarreau Gros Coeuret Cherry decorative poster, taken from the remarkable plates of Pierre-Antoine Poiteau's Traité des arbres fruitiers (Treatise on Fruit Trees).
This ancient cherry variety is distinguished by its generous heart-shaped fruit, whose skin evolves from vibrant red to deep black when fully ripe. Its intense purple-red flesh, both crisp and subtly fragrant, testifies to the richness of the varieties cultivated in the 19th century.
The illustration highlights the botanical precision characteristic of Poiteau and Turpin's work: delicately veined foliage, early white flowers, and fruits with complex nuances. This reproduction of a vintage botanical illustration captures all the beauty and singularity of this ancient cherry.
Ideal for natural and refined wall decor, this poster will appeal to lovers of botanical art, ancient fruits, and objects inspired by French scientific heritage.
Our posters are printed on a semi-gloss paper selected to offer an elegant and durable finish over time. Its smooth and slightly luminous surface highlights every detail of the illustration.
Each poster is carefully prepared to ensure optimal protection during transport.
